Shiatsu
A traditional form of Japanese bodywork, Shiatsu promotes the smooth flow of Ki (energy) along your body’s Meridians (channels). It combines acupressure, palming and thumbing techniques, as well as gentle stretches and rotations. Pressure can also be applied using elbows, knees, forearms, and even feet. Shiatsu’s foundations are in Oriental Medicine, which means that it can address your underlying disharmonies as well as offer immediate relief from physical aches and pains. Shiatsu is perfect for:

Your 90 minute treatment includes professional diagnosis to ensure the Shiatsu is specifically tailored to your needs. Dietary therapeutic recommendations, lifestyle advice (including qualified exercise advice!) and Oriental Therapies may be included to promote faster healing. Non-insertive Needle Therapy? How does that work?!
Needles are tools to move Ki (energy) - not devices to pierce and stimulate points unnecessarily. Oriental Therapies
Usually integrated with Shiatsu and Japanese Needle Therapy, Oriental Therapies include:
· Moxibustion: The mugwort herb is applied to specific acupuncture points, and lit to a point of comfortable warmth. Moxibustion is appropriate for a vast range of conditions.
· Cupping: Vacuums are created in glass cups before they’re applied to various areas of your body, typically along the back and shoulders. Cupping drains stagnation (stuck energy) from your body and is great for muscle tightness.
· Spooning: A traditional therapy for the onset of colds, spooning (scraping) brings pathogens to the surface for speedy recovery.
Private Health Fund Rebates Available for Shiatsu and Oriental Therapies. Please wear loose, comfortable clothing. Women, please wear pants and not skirts or dresses! Please pay by cash or cheque only.

What are Your Prices and Working Hours, Sheryn? How much Notice do You Need for an Appointment?
90min Shiatsu: $120/ $80 Student Concession (includes consultation and materials for oriental therapies if they are applicable)
60min Japanese Needle Therapy Treatment: $70
I work Wednesdays, Thursdays, Fridays and Saturday mornings. My hours are fairly flexible and I can work evenings to accomodate those who work 9-5. My last appointment is at 7pm.
I usually need 2-3 days' notice to schedule your appointment. A week's notice is preferable.
Sheryn, Do You Treat Men?
The majority of my clientele are women and young adults. I do treat men, but please be aware that I am a professional practitioner (ie, strictly non-sexual services). I am happy to treat men who genuinely want to improve or maintain their health and create balanced lifestyles.

Come with questions (or none!) and an open mind - Intuitive Counselling is like having life coaching sessions with your spirit guides! Fun, enjoyable and very perceptive.
75min: $100/ $80 conc
· Crystal Girls Club (13 - 16 yo)
Held on Thursdays 4:00 - 5:30pm during Victorian School Term. $170 for 10 week term. In a safe, fun and positive environment, Crystal Girls are encouraged to explore their intuition through using pendulums and oracle cards and connecting with angels and spirit guides; develop high self-esteem through personal growth exercises; tap into the visions of the New Earth that they instinctively hold within in, plus much more!
