Corrective exercise based personal training?
Corrective exercise based personal training involves a thorough initial assessment to find out what your body is currently doing well and where it is performing well and also underperforming. From this initial assessment we will discuss with you your strengths and weakness's and the areas that you actually need to improve.
The initial assessment involves (with an explanation to you of the results and what they mean)
- Full body postural assessment
- Joint range of motion assessment
- Functional assessment
- Core assessment
- Flexibility assessment
The benefit of getting all this information and this type of personal training is that you are constantly finding new weakness's and targeting these areas. Corrective exercise therapy is a very specific field of personal training which requires additional training and is a specialist area.
Patients who have benefited from this service are:
- Patients who have wanted a injury prevention program
- Athletes wanting a Strength & Conditioning program that are carrying small injuries or niggles
- Patients that suffer from poor posture and dont know what exercise program to do to help
- Patients wanting a balanced training program
- Patients wanting to do personal training but have injuries and want someone who understands their injuries
