Welcome to Fitzroy Podiatry
Fitzroy Podiatry is located in the heart of Brunswick Street Fitzroy. Here you will find all the advice you need regarding any aches and pains you may be experiencing at your legs and feet as a result of a specific injury or your normal day to day activities. Whether you are training for your first marathon, carrying a toddler on your hip or simply spending too many hours on your feet, we will identify the factors that are causing your pains.
Sometimes solutions are relatively easy, however they may be missed without a comprehensive assessment of your training regime and lifestyle.
At Fitzroy Podiatry we will assess your standing and walking patterns to determine whether your foot and leg posture is a contributing factor to your current pains. If necessary, we are able to prescribe custom foot orthotics combined with other conservative treatment advice in order to achieve relief and satisfy patient goals.
- No referral is necessary to see a Podiatrist.
- Payment is required on the day of consultation and may be made via cash, cheque or eftpos.
- 24 hours cancellation notice is required otherwise a cancellation fee will be issued.
Podiatrist - Sarah Duyshart
Sarah has maintained a strong interest in Sports Podiatry since completing her Bachelor of Podiatry at La Trobe University. She worked at Windy Hill in Melbourne for several years, before continuing her Podiatric practice in London, Sydney and now Fitzroy.
Sarah is qualified in assisting both adult and adolescent athletes to achieve their optimum level of performance. She is also trained in resolving non-athletic injuries sustained in and outside the work place whether it be relief from acute and chronic pains, or often something unnecessarily endured for several weeks or months before advice is sought.
Sarah takes great satisfaction providing a comprehensive approach to patients’ podiatric needs in response to their particular lifestyle.
