At Southern Sports & Health Massage we specialise in the following:
Remedial Massage - Is an invigorating treatment concentrating on increasing blood circulation to the muscles and identifying and relieving stress tension.
Deep tissue Corrective Massage - Assists in identifying energy blocks and muscle spasm in the body which can result in restriction of muscles and joints causing pain and dysfunction.
Athlete Specific - Is designed for the treatment and rehabilitation of Sports Injury and to assist athletes by working in conjunction with their specific training program in preperation for racing and competition. A postural assesment is part of this treament to assist in idenitfying regions of restriction and structural weakness which can compromise the form and performance of the athlete.
Corrective Exercise Therapy - An exercise rehabilitation program to assist in creating positive structural and functional changes and improvements.
Cranio Sacral Therapy - Is a gentle holistic technique used in identifying restriction and regions of dysfunction affecting the Central Nervous System. This treatment is valuable in delivering reasons why the body may not be functioning optimally. CST is useful in the treatment of stress, migraines,back pain,acute and chronic pain, headaches, anxiety, general colds and flu and very useful for general relaxation and balance.
SSHM Professional Athlete Sponsorship Program - Is the support and sponsorship of profesional athletes. Providing Massage Therapy to assist in preventing injury and enhancing perfomance in the athletic arena. SSHM athletes are Australian and World Triathlete Craig Alexander, Australian Fast Bowler Brett Lee, Australian All Rounder Shane Watson.

My Service
I specialise in Deep Tissue Corrective Massage Therapy, which is effective in treating a range of problems and ailments from Sports Injury, chronic pain, pre and post surgery rehabilitation and pain caused from postural stress.
Massage Therapy is also very useful in identifying patterns in the body that have resulted in pain and discomfort and in doing this the site of the problem can be identified and treated accordingly.
As a Massage Therapist it is my professional goal to raise the awareness of the many benefits of Massage Therapy and to provide effective and affordable health care for my community.
