As one of the chief masseurs at internationally-renowned Elysia Golden Door Health Retreat, I have been privileged to spend time with clients getting to know intimately what it is that creates chronic pain tension and stress in the muscles and cells of their bodies. In the relaxed environment of a wellness retreat, clients have opened up and I have been able to listen to stories which directly link lifestyle, diet and daily anxieties to back pain; muscle wear and tear; and the ageing process.
