Optimal fertility
There are many ways you can increase your chances at having a baby, good diet, exercise, and acupuncture and Chinese herbs. If you have endometriosis, polycystic ovarian syndrome, recurrent miscarriage or other problems Suzanne will undertake a thorough diagnosis and put you on a treatment program to help you join the many mums and dads she has helped. The Program's focus is on healing the root causes of infertility. This is done by addressing all conditions that may affect reproductive health, including: screening for heavy metals (eg. lead, mercury, aluminium) and essential minerals (eg. zinc and iron); avoiding common environmental pollutants; avoiding common social drugs (eg. cigarettes, alcohol, caffeine) ; exercise, stress management and positive thinking. You will be provided with acupuncture, custom prescribed herbal formulas, supplements and referred to your GP for further tests if required.
IVF and acupuncture: a large number of clinical trials have been conducted around the world, including Australia, which show that acupuncture can increase IVF pregnancy rates. I use acupuncture during IVF before and after embryo transfer, during IVF medication and egg collection. For more information on ivf and acupuncture please visit www.acupunctureivf.com.au
About your visit
Your initial visit usually takes up to an hour and involves listening to your history, asking a range of questions, looking at your tongue, taking your pulse and palpating your abdomen.
If you are coming for acupuncture, Suzanne will then carry out the treatment by inserting needles into specific points of your body which may be removed immediately or left in for a short period of time (15-20 mins)
Subsequent treatments usually last between 30-45mins. QUALIFICATION DETAILS About Suzanne
