Traditional Chinese medicine is a medicinal framework which uses Chinese herbal medicine and acupuncture primarily to address disease and restore equilibrium of the body.

Using TCM and its wholistic approach to health, treatment ranges from improving general health and energy to address specific and individual conditions such as menopause and weight loss. The treatments which encompass Traditional Chinese medicine include, acupuncture, Chinese herbal medicine, cupping, gua sha (spooning) and food therapy.
ACUPUNCTURE
Acupuncture is the most commonly known aspect of Chinese medicine in Western society. It is a safe and effective, drug free form of treatment. Traditional acupuncture involves the insertion of fine disposable sterile needles into specific acupuncture points along the meridians of the body. Treatment typically involves a dull aching sensation associated with insertion which is the needle accessing and interacting with the bodies energy. Acupuncture encourages the normal movement of qi through the body, clearing blockages and providing more qi to areas of weakness. Meridians are channels of energy which run in specific paths along the body. There are 12 main channels which relate to specific organs and systems as well as influencing the areas they run through. It is a safe and effective, drug free form of treatment.
NEEDLE FREE ACUPUNCTURE
SILVER SPIKE POINT (SSP) LOW FREQUENCY ELECTROTHERAPY
Silver spike point therapy uses low frequency electrical stimulation through S.S.P. electrodes to provide effective and non invasive stimulation of the body. It is used for needle free acupuncture, enabling both deep and peripheral stimulation of acupuncture points and muscle groups and is very effective for pain relief.
The conical shaped electrodes are silver plated, deliver accurate transference of electrical current to the selected site. Electrode’s are cased in a flexible rubber cup. They maintain contact with the skin by an adjustable suction mechanism. This allows for correct contact for unrestricted electrical stimulation
HERBAL MEDICINE
Chinese herbal Medicine works on its own, or in conjunction with acupuncture, and is prescribed according to the individuals specific needs. While it addresses specific complains, it is also beneficial for prevention of disease by strengthening the body’s normal functions and the immune system. At wholistic Approach, we use patent formulas, (pre packaged) as they are convenient to take in this high paced culture, as well as being heavily regulated for consistency of product.
NEEDLE FREE COSMETIC FACIAL ACUPUNCTURE
We offer cosmetic facial acupuncture using a needle free acupuncture machine. This form of treatment works by targeting areas of the face and neck you wish to work on as well as addressing the body as a whole which in turn will further benefit the face.
Cosmetic facial acupuncture is safe and painless treatment, accessing specific acupuncture points to increase blood flow and stimulate muscle groups of the face in order to tighten and lift the face in a natural way, restoring it to its most tones state. It also minimizes wrinkles and the effects of stress and aging on the face. Treatment is not focused on producing a tight and immobile effect on the face, but aims to transform the face without resorting to injecting foreign materials into the body.
