The Health Arts College (THA College) has been established as an educational resource for those wanting a career in the Health Industry and for those who just want to be better informed about the possibilities of health management and better health options.
After seven years of operating in Melbourne, Health Arts College has expanded to Perth and Adelaide. Its philosophy is to create and encourage a high standard of professional practitioners for the complementary health industry.
Learn the art of Massage, unravel the mystery of Kinesiology, or create a new perspective with Aromatherapy. THA College can help you learn these new skills with caring guidance provided by leading innovative instructors who have heart and spirit.
Qualifications
THA College has gone through the rigorous government registration process to become a Registered Training Organisation. Students are able to undertake a nationally recognised Certificate IV qualification in massage. Also other courses will allow students to become members of their respective professional associations: AAMT, AAPK Inc and the AAMA Inc.
Kinesiology is based on the founder’s teachings, Touch for Health.
This has created the base for synergies and advancements in today’s knowledge. This course is skills based, and grounded in the practical application of Kinesiology in everyday life.
Massage is built upon the “stuff that works” with people.
We have professional, devoted instructors to ensure that you have the knowledge and confidence to pass on the tradition. Our Certificate IV in Massage is now course approved by Centrelink for Youth Allowance and Austudy Payment (other courses following).
Aromatherapy is based on the understanding of the power of the plants and the essential oils that are produced by them.
If you would like delve deep into the mysteries and power of 40 or more essential oils, our aromatherapy course explores this and more. THA College is unique in that we are presenting an aromatherapy course and integrate with other therapies.
Your foot tells stories about your life and your health
Reflexology creates an instant relaxation to the body, reduces
pain as well as improves blood flow. The Health Arts College provides a unique training experience that students and clients benefit from. Graduates would be able to enter clinical practice alone or work in a health care clinic.
