Izabela is one of the founding osteopaths at The Osteopathy Clinic.
During the last 10 years as an osteopath in private practice,and 5 years as a clinical supervisor and examiner at the University of Western Sydney, Izabela has found her interests lie in the treatment of headaches and migraines, posture related pain, and lower back conditions.
"Looking at the body as a complete mechanical structure gives a great insight into the treatment of musculoskeletal pain. This enables us to get to the real cause of the problem - it may not be where the pain currently presents. I find this concept fascinating, especially with relation to those conditions that creep in over time - like chronic headaches, neck and shoulder problems, and lumbosacral pain."
Having 3 young children also enables Izabela to have a thorough and practical perspective of the physical strains placed on a body during pregnancy and full recovery from birth.
The initial treatment to see Izabela will approximately take 1 hour. It will involve taking your medical history, an examination and treatment.
Subsequent treatments usually last about 30mins.
