Acupuncture
What is acupuncture and how does it work?
One of the main branches of Traditional Chinese Medicine, acupuncture involves the insertion of fine, single-use, sterile needles into specific locations in the body. These locations, called acupoints, lie on the meridians, which are a network of energetic pathways that connect the functions of the internal organs to the broader functions of the body.
It is believed that by inserting acupuncture needles into prescribed locations on these pathways, the body’s homeostatic functions are activated. As the body returns to its natural state of equilibrium, there is no longer a place for illness or disease.

The Buddha Bar is a serene oasis situated in the heart of King Street Newtown. Once in the door you are transported on a spiritual journey.
We have 4 beautiful treatment rooms which are designed for your utmost comfort and to lull you into a deep place of inner calm.
There are many hidden gems that you will discover on your visit, with clients commenting they “find” something new and special each time. Our team of amazingly gifted therapists and reception staff provide the nurturing space of the clinic, the energy is calm, caring and compassionate.
We understand how precious time can be in such a busy world and our hope is to give you an experience, not just a treatment in your time with us. We invite all our clients to arrive 15mins prior to appointment time to relax in the “Buddha Lounge” where you can take in the peaceful surrounds, enjoy one of our therapeutic teas and take some precious time just for you.
