What we do
At The Foot Group we diagnose and treat an extensive range of foot and postural problems. This can include biomechanical assessment or foot care.
Biomechanics
- Podiatric management of the foot and lower limb – alignment and movement.
- A biomechanical assessment includes specific foot and leg measurements, digital video gait analysis using Silicon Coach software and computerised foot pressure analysis.
- In shoe prescription, orthotic devices are used to control foot mechanics and encourage optimal lower limb alignment, and to assist in alleviating the pain caused by abnormal foot and lower limb alignment.
Foot Care
Podiatric management of the nail and skin foot problems including:
- Ingrown toenails - treated conservatively or surgically excised to prevent regrowth
- Corns and callus
- Diabetic foot care
