Are you seeking relief from acute or chronic pain, recovering from an injury or simply wanting to relax after a stressful week?
We can provide you with a range of massage therapies to suit your specific treatment needs.

The Massage Doctor

Treatments
Relaxation (Therapeutic) Massage relaxes muscle tissue allowing the body and mind to destress. Blood and lymph are stimulated to release and remove build up of toxins.

Hot Stone Therapy is the ultimate experience utilising heated basalt stones. The mind deeply relaxes and the body rests and rejuvenates.

Relaxation Massage and Hot Stone Therapy are both ideal treatments for stress and circulatory problems.

Remedial Massage assists in recovery from injury and brings about change in muscles. It incorporates the following techniques as and when needed:

Trigger Point Therapy – trigger points refer pain to a predictable site and when active cause pain.

Myofascial Release – removes restrictions that impede efficient movement.

Reflexology – a holistic foot treatment whereby pressure is placed in specific reflex points corresponding to every organ, gland, muscle and bone of the body to promote perfect balance.

Pain Source Release – restores freedom of movement as well as emotional harmony and balance. The pain source is directly treated resulting in a change in the tissues.

CranioSacral Therapy – provides symptomatic relief or resolution of core problems of the spirit. While this treatment is administered by the therapist by way of tuning into your inner wisdom and bodily intelligence, you guide the process.

Pregnancy Massage relaxes the mother and minimises stress on both mother and baby. Benefits include – reduced oedema and fatigue, improved blood flow, reduced muscle spasms and leg cramps and reduced back pain due to improper posture.

Remedial Massage is ideal for headaches, sciatica, low back pain, frozen shoulder, tightness in legs post hip replacements, restricted range of motion and general muscle tightness.

All therapists are experienced and
professional practitioners and are
accredited with all health funds.

The benefits of massage are well known, however, we only think about having a massage when we have pain. Why not look after your body and find time for a massage once a month?
