The Pilates Room was established in 1999 and has since become one of the industry leaders. Pilates as a form of exercise is much more than a passing fad. Joseph H. Pilates laid very strong foundations in the early 1900's and his principles of movement ensure quality in strength, flexibility, coordination and posture.
Pilates Room staff will nurture and promote positive body movements according to your needs. Following the original Pilates discipline principles, a program will be designed to suit you and your goals. Your health needs will be addressed in a professional and safe manner ensuring great results. All Pilates Room employees are highly trained and qualified professionals. Studio and mat classes are held in rooms in Belrose village on the northern beaches, Sydney
STUDIO
The Pilates Room offers private and semi-private studio sessions in our new, fully equipped boutique studio. Our small intimate classes are run by experienced, certified instructors. The studio is open six days a week and bookings are essential.
MAT
Mat Classes are held in our new studio at 15/25 Ralston Avenue, BelroseMonday - 10am, 11am & 7pm
Tuesday - 9.30am & 6.30pm
Wednesday - 6pm
Saturday - 9am Classes are small groups of no more than 12 people, last 1 hour and run all year long.
SPECIALISED CLASSES
We cater for all ages from children to pensioners and offer sports specific programs for the horserider and dancer, golfer and athlete. We also run rehabilitation classes for clients recovering from injury or operations.

POLESTAR INSTRUCTOR TRAINING
Kimberley Garlick is an Educator for Polestar. Her team of staff includes many exceptional Polestar mentors that can help students prepare for their exam. - All our instructors are Pilates Alliance Members
- Kimberley Garlick is a Level 3 Pilates Professional
- The Pilates Room has Polestar Educators and Mentors to assist with exam preparation.
- Our instructors come from either dance or Human Movement Science backgrounds.
- Our instructors are certified in mat, allegro and studio with rehab specialists
