INTRODUCTION

Welcome to our Mum and Babies Massage Bonding Workshop, over the next four week you will learn why it is beneficial to massage your baby. What happens at a Baby Massage workshop?

There are usually between 4 – 8 mums and their babies at a baby massage workshop. When you arrive, the room is set up with baby mats and fresh towels for the baby to lie on, and a cushion for you to sit on. All oils and your workshop manual will be provided. During the workshop I will demonstrate the strokes on a doll while you give your baby a thorough massage, focusing on a different area each week. And afterwards, when your baby is content and calm, you can enjoy a cup coffee/tea and cake / biscuits in the company of other mums and babies. These is a magnificent chance to share, support and give insight, let off steam, have a laugh and meet some new friends.

You will learn how to perform massage and be confident with your massage technique. There has been a lot of research done and there is a lot of evidence that massage can help settle babies, bond parents and babies, give relief for colic, wind and constipation for your baby. How to help your baby with Coughs, colds and Congestion
