Treatment Benefits
Aromatherapy, acupressure and massage treatments with Tseu are designed to treat your whole person with a focus on addressing your primary health concerns. Aromatherapy uses therapeutic grade essential oils and a specialised massage routine to provide relief for a large variety of common health issues including muscular aches and pains, stress and fatigue, headaches, digestion problems, and skin problems. Lifestyle and home treatment advice is also included in the consultation to maximise health benefits.
What to expect during your consultation
Your initial consultation will begin with a detailed discussion about your medical history and your objectives for seeking treatment. Tseu will then select a blend of essential oils and acupressure points tailored to improve your overall health and wellbeing.
The treatment is administered using the selected oil blend through a specialised aromatherapy massage routine, which includes acupressure, lymphatic drainage, Swedish/relaxation massage, and if beneficial some cupping may be prescribed. The treatment is designed to relax your muscles and release tension, improve your circulation, promote the elimination of toxins via your lymphatic system, and to alleviate pain in your body. During the treatment inhalation of the essential oils will also provide therapeutic benefits as different oils can calm an overactive mind or invigorate a tired one.
After the treatment you will feel relaxed and refreshed; your muscles will feel looser, your mind will be calmer and clearer.
For clients who do not wish to use essential oils, massage and cupping treatments without the use of essential oils is also available, please enquire during your consultation.

..................................................
What is Aromatherapy?
Aromatherapy has been used in natural medicine for thousands of years. Aromatherapy uses the therapeutic properties of plant essential oils to assist in a large variety of health issues. The application of the oils is usually through a specialised form of massage, inhalation, baths and/or compresses. The benefits of the oils are delivered through skin absorption and inhalation, this coupled with the benefits of massage delivers a powerful yet relaxing treatment uniquely designed to improve your health and wellbeing.
Different essential oils have different properties, for example Lavender is great to promote skin healing in burns and cuts, as it has antiseptic, analgesic and cytophylactic properties. It is also great for relieving stress.
A qualified Aromatherapist understands the therapeutic properties of individual essential oils, coupled with sound knowledge of human anatomy and physiology, and massage. This enables the practitioner to select a blend of oils to address both the physical and emotional needs of the patient, creating a customised, well balanced therapeutic treatment.
Aromatherapy acts on multiple internal systems in the body and has been reported to deliver the following benefits: - Relaxes muscles and soothes aches and pains
- Relieves headaches
- Relieves stress by balancing the nervous system
- Enhances the removal of toxins in the body
- Improves circulation
- Improves digestion
- Improves skin clarity and tone
- Calms and clears the mind
- Clears infections and inflammation
- Speeds up the healing process of wounds

What is Aromatherapy Skin Care?
Aromatherapy may also be beneficial for skin problems like dry skin, mature skin, acne, oily skin and eczema. Tseu will assess your skin type and condition and begin the treatment with a thorough cleansing and toning. This will be followed by a relaxing face, head and neck massage using a tailored blend of essential oils to address your skin problems, for example oils with antiseptic and oil balancing properties will be used to treat oily acne skin. A mask will then be applied to draw out any impurities, and an oil or gel blend will be applied to deeply moisturise your skin at the end of the treatment. Tseu only uses pure and natural ingredients without any chemicals in these treatments.

What is Acupressure?
Acupressure can be described as acupuncture without the use of needles. Acupressure is based on the Chinese Medicine theory of Qi flow along channels in the body. Acupressure points lie on these channels and can be used through thumb massage to alleviate pain, release tension, improve circulation and remove stagnation. Acupressure can provide relief for many common ailments.
..................................................
What is Lymphatic Drainage Massage?
Lymphatic drainage massage is a type of massage that promotes the flow of lymph fluids in the body. This may improve your immune system, assist in the removal of toxins, and alleviate oedema (fluid retention). Lymphatic drainage techniques have been incorporated into the Aromatherapy massage sequence.

What is Cupping?
Cupping is a Chinese Medicine technique. It uses the suction of glass cups to relieve musculoskeletal tension and pain and to draw out toxins in the body. Cupping is painfree when done properly by a professional.
Benefits of cupping include:- Releases muscle tension and relieves pain
- Promotes better circulation
- Eliminates toxins from the body
- Speeds up the recovery from colds and flu
The cups are left on the body for no more than 5-8min, superficial bruises may appear on areas that received the cupping but they should disappear within 7-10 days after the treatment.
