What is Myofascial Release?

Myofascial Release is a form of soft tissue therapy used to treat muscle and skeletal issues and the accompanying pain and restriction of motion. This is accomplished by relaxing the muscles and increasing the bodies circulation

This method involves a gentle stretch, with only a few grams of pressure, which produces gentle traction to the restricted area and will result in heat and increased blood flow in the area.

What is Trigger Point Therapy?

Trigger point therapy is a bodywork technique that involves the applying of pressure to tender muscle tissue in order to relieve pain and dysfunction in other parts of the body.
Sometimes massage and trigger point therapy are performed together to help your body return back to it's best.

Trigger points are areas of tenderness in a muscle and most of us may have them without knowing about them, it is the therapist job to discuss with the client
what caused them to go to treatment and then find if it is Trigger Points causing the problem, excellent treatment for all areas of the body.
