MYOFASCIAL RELEASE
Myofascial Release may not be a massage, but rather a soft tissue therapy; however, it does have many of the same effects as a massage with the added benefits of properly relieving any pains. Myofascial release relieves tension and emotional stress, making it an ideal therapy to use in order to unwind. By relaxing the fascia around key areas such as the back and skull, people find that they are more relaxed as well as being pain free. Myofascial release is a gentle therapy done in a relaxed atmosphere. All of these things combine to ensure that the patient enjoys their time and walks out feeling better both physically and emotionally. The Relaxation of being gently stretched is a great way to detox your mind and soul as well as your body.
HOT STONE
Dates back to over 3000 years ago. Hot Stone Massage Therapy was used in ancient India and China.
Hot Stone Massage is a style of massage therapy in which water-heated stones are placed at specific sites on the client's body to promote relaxation and to help open up the meridians (energy pathways).
Muscles are pretreated with the heated stones to allow the therapist to more easily perform deep tissue techniques, to promote deep muscle and tissue relaxation, alleviates stress, releases toxins, relieves pain, improves circulation, calm the psyche.
CRANIOSACRAL THERAPY
The movement of spinal fluid within and around the central nervous system is believed to create a vital body rhythm, equally important to health and well-being as the beating of the heart or the breath.
CranioSacral Therapy helps to boost general well-being, reduce stress, improve quality of sleep, increase energy and enhance the functioning of all the body's organs via the nervous system. It is a non-intrusive therapy that works with the entire structure, physiology, mind and spirit.
BIODYNAMIC CRANIAL TOUCH
This rhythm, primary respiration, is the matrix that continually distributes original healthy motion throughout the fluids, and orchestrates the subtle
movements of the bones, organs, glands, and tissues of your whole body as one synchronous unitary motion--this wholeness is health.
Primary respiration is characterized as an ebb-tide motion that is both universal and unique to each person. Its patterns hold a record of your individual life experience and your potential spiritual destiny.
The Breath of Life is the source of primary respiration; it is a deep healing force that creates your body at conception, and heals during the rest of your life.
The Breath of Life also infuses in you the awareness of, and connection to the radiant presence of spirit.
Awareness of this presence arises out of a direct contact with Dynamic Stillness, the creative resource that contains your potential for self-development
and impels you to a body-felt connection with wholeness as your true nature.
Maintenance
Many people wait until they are already in pain before getting help, but why let it get that bad?
It is a good idea to take regular treatments as a preventative measure.
Regular treatments maintain and increase your overall sense of wellbeing for optimum physical and mental health.
After your have a treatment make sure, you drink plenty of water
So whether you are feeling run down, have some niggling aches and pains, or just want some time for yourself, book yourself a treatment and enjoy!
Therapy Works Great, Over Time
If you are expecting your aches and pains to diminish immediately after session one, you’ll be disappointed.
It takes several sessions to fully relax the body and the longer you have lived with aches and pains, the more sessions it will take. Many people also experience pain at the same degree or even worse after a treatment.
This is because, much like a vaccination that makes you sore and sometimes sick afterwards, the body needs time to adjust to the treatment and the adjustment comes with some pain.
Also the main thing after any form of therapy is to drink plenty of water; the water helps flush out any of the toxins that have been release during the session.QUALIFICATION DETAILSCertificate IV in Massage
