Viroga Yoga Studio is a private and serene space dedicated to yoga. It is a safe and friendly place to retreat from the bustle of daily life and reconnect mind, body and spirit. All yoga mats and props are provided in the studio so all you will need is comfortable clothes & a smile. All classes are guided by professional and experienced instructors who embrace a range of yoga postures (asana), breathing (pranayama), relaxation &/or meditation techniques. Hatha Yoga

Stretch, Tone, Breathe, Relax...Enjoy! a pleasant yoga class suitable for all levels including beginners. Hatha Yoga classes begin with a centering exercise and gentle warm up, followed by a range of postures (asana) and breathing techniques (pranayama) designed to relieve tension, improve flexibility, build focus and strength at every level. Each class concludes with a deep relaxation and/or meditation.


Flowing Yoga
Ongoing - Tues Night, Sat Morn (60mins)
$15 casual / 4 class pass $55 / 8 class pass $95
Active, heating, strengthening "vinyasa" style class based around the Sun Salute. Moderate challenge for body and mind. Reasonable fitness is recommended. Flowing Yoga is a more vigorous style of class. It starts with a brief warm up that builds in to a rang e of energizing sequences that allow one posture to pour into the next creating warmth and movement that helps to cleanse and invigorate the mind and body. Each class concludes with a short relaxation.


Radiant Light Yoga
Ongoing - Friday Nights (75mins)
$15 casual / 4 class pass $55 / 8 class pass $95
Flow from pose to pose and move with the breath. Fluid "Vinyasa" style - like meditation in motion. A blissful way to end the week. Intermediate level. After a gentle warm up, we continue to move energy through the body doing sun salutations, after which we continue our flowing sequence on the floor. Emphasis is placed on smooth transitions as we enter, hold, and release each asana. Each class ends with a deep relaxation.


4 Week Introducing Meditation Course
4 week course - 4 x Sundays 6-7:15pm

The presence and support of a woman’s partner assists the birthing woman immensely during labour and delivery. It may also reduce the need for medical intervention. This 7 hour workshop offers couples helpful practices and support techniques that can be shared during pregnancy and childbirth. It will explore partner work and active birth principles including gentle yoga postures, breath work and relaxation, vocal toning, mindfulness and discussion. It aims to empower couples to remain connected with the instinctive nature of childbirth, to manage pain naturally and explores ways in which partners can offer emotional and physical support. This often leads to partners feeling an enhanced connectedness with the unborn baby and increases the couple’s confidence in the birthing journey. The ideal time to attend is around 24-34 weeks but is beneficial at any time during pregnancy. It is beneficial for first or subsequent pregnancies and no previous yoga experience is necessary.


Mum & Baby Yoga

Mums & Bubs Yoga is yoga class that mum and baby do together. It is suitable from 8 weeks postpartum up until baby starts actively crawling. Mums & Bubs Yoga classes include some stretching and strengthening for mum, massage and movement for baby, some singing and laughing. Mothers are encouraged to bring their “big bag” and a “bunny rug” so they can tend to their baby’s feeding and settling needs at any time. It is a great way to de-stress, tone-up, bond with bub and meet other new mums. Please note: missed course dates are non-transferable and non-refundable.
