SERVICES
Remedial Massage / Dry Needling

Treats pain resulting from overuse, misuse or injury to your muscles, tendons, ligaments and joints from activities such as sport, work or recreational hobbies. A variety of modalities are used depending on the nature of your injury. Dry needling involves the use of acupuncture needles inserted in/near trigger points to help relieve muscle tension. This techniques is not the same as traditional acupuncture and is specific for muscular tension. The goal is to restore function to your body and reduce your pain. Corrective exercises and postures are given to minimise the incidence of re-injury and improve your general well being.

Cupping

An ancient eastern tradition to relax your muscles and restore the flow of energy through your body. Stagnant or blocked energy in an area disrupts the flow of energy around your body and can cause pain and dysfunction. Cupping gently releases the blockage and helps to restore balance to your system. Works well with Remedial Massage and is often included as part of the treatment.

Trigger Point Therapy.

Trigger points are extremely irritable areas within muscles that have been overloaded by physical, mechanical or nutritional stresses. These irritable areas cause referred pain and can shorten and weaken affected muscles. Deactivation of the trigger points can relieve pain, and restore function to stressed muscles. A variety of modalities are used to bring about deactivation of these trigger points.

Ear Candling

Used for many years by the Hopi Indians to loosen debris from the ear canal, equalise pressure in your ears after infection or flight, relieve pressure and improve drainage in sinus conditions, and to help relieve headache and jaw pain. May require more than one treatment. Not suitable if you have an active ear infection.
