Usui Shiki Ryoho
(also called The Usui System of Reiki Healing) is the practice that was first brought to the west from Japan in 1937, and is carried through the lineage and teachings of Mikao Usui, Chujiro Hayashi, Hawayo Takata and Phyllis Furumoto . Students who learn Reiki with us are directly connected to this lineage. The practice was developed by a Japanese scholar, Mikao Usui. He gave it the name of “Reiki" by which it is now known worldwide.

First level Reiki students receive four initiations and tuition in the full foundation practice. Students will learn the structure of the Usui System of Reiki Healing, the history of Reiki, basic hand positions for treatment of self and other, the principles of Mikao Usui, and ways to practically apply Reiki in their lives. There is plenty of time given to practice giving and receiving Reiki treatment with other students.

Second level Reiki is available to students who want to go deeper into their Reiki practice. Students receive initiation, and the teachers share the sacred methods passed down by Mikao Usui for focussed collection and transference of the Reiki energy, for sending distance healing, and for conducting mental treatment. Second level training further opens the student's awareness to the limitless nature and application of Reiki.

Wendy and Sharron bring a wealth of knowledge gained from 24yrs and 19yrs respective personal practice of Reiki, plus an uncommon depth of professional treatment experience comprising thousands of clinical case hours. In addition to their extensive Reiki experience Sharron and Wendy are qualified health practitioners.

Wendy’s vocational background is in science and pathology. She is a homoeopath with over 20 years experience in fulltime practice and accredited by Australian Traditional Medicine Society.

Sharron is a registered clinical hypnotherapist accredited by Australian Society of Clinical Hypntherapists, and a clinical counsellor accredited by the Australian Counselling Association. She is also an approved supervisor for both professional organisations.

Health practitioners claim CPD points
You may help yourself professionally as well as personally when you undertake your Reiki training with Sharron and Wendy. A certificate of participation is issued to students on completion of the course. Both teachers are nationally accredited trainers, possessing Cert IV Workplace Training and Assessment. Check with your association to establish their acceptance of this Reiki training as part of your ongoing professional development.
