When you first make the decision to create a healthier you, we will follow three steps:
step 1 – Initial Health and Fitness assessment
Here we discover our starting platform that becomes the benchmark from which we can measure your progress as we work together. We look at your current health and lifestyle; your health history; current activity levels and aerobic fitness; and we analyse your posture and functional movement capabilities.
step 2 – Initial Lifestyle and Nutrition session
We use this initial session to find out exactly what it is you are looking to achieve, and most importantly WHY? We will work with you to develop very clear FOCUS Goals, designed to help you create the habits required to reach your goals. Once you can see and feel the benefits that will come with reaching your goals and you have an emotional attachment to them, the habits you need to put in place will become much easier.
We also raise your awareness around what you eat, when you eat and why you eat.
The first 2 sessions provides vital information for us regarding the nature of exercise best suited to you, the intensity at which we can train, and most importantly we (you and your trainer) are very clear and focused on your purpose.
step 3 – Personal Training sessions begin
We sit down with you, look at your weekly commitments, and schedule your PT sessions to work in with family and work. We also schedule any additional activity or sessions you have decided to do in order to meet your goals.
Personal Training sessions are 1 hour in duration (unless a specific health condition requires a shorter period of time, in which case an appropriate rate will be arranged.)
