We believe that food should be enjoyed and savored. Just because a food is healthy doesn’t mean it has to lack flavour, texture and enjoyment.
These philosophies are incorporated into a personal assessment and unique plan based on your lifestyle and goals. This includes guiding clients on the origin, processing and nutritional benefits of foods. We also support the transition to a wholefood diet through lots of quick, easy and delicious recipes, meal ideas and eating out guides, ensuring important social and family pleasures are not compromised.
Our Philosophy
- We believe nutrient requirements can be met though a wholefood diet. We try to avoid prescribing synthetic supplements and rather support the bodies own ability to heal itself.
- We believe in treating the whole person and not just the disease.
- We believe in implementing sustainable changes not only for the client but for the environment though supporting organic-sustainable farming practices.
- There are many aspects of a person’s health. We believe in addressing all aspects of health including sleep-wake cycles, nutrition, movement and exercise, state of mind and a having balanced outlook.
Consultations
Initial consultation (approx. 1 hour) $150
During your first consultation, we discuss your health concerns, assess your goals, expected outcomes, and outline time frame to achieve results. We conduct basic health analysis including body function assessment, iridology, nail and tongue diagnosis, and other specialised tests. After assessing your individual needs and requirements we develop and discuss diet and lifestyle changes which will help you achieve your goals. This is all put into a personalised lifestyle and diet plan along with recipes and a herbal medicine formulation if indicated.
Follow up consultation (approx. 15-30 minutes) $60
Follow up consultations are highly recommended. They help you stay motivated, continue to develop nutrition and lifestyle changes and address health concerns. Follow up consultations are recommended every 2-4 weeks for a period of up to 12 weeks. Your individual need for follow up consults can be discussed during our first consultation and tailored to suit your goals.
Food Education Consultation $150 p/hour
This consultation is designed for people who have no specific health concerns that want to learn more about the wholefood diet and how to properly prepare foods. We discuss what foods are beneficial and those to avoid. We also examine slow cooking, sprouting, fermenting and activating foods. The food education consultation is designed to give you the knowledge and confidence around food and nutrition.
