About Me Many years ago I sustained a major head injury that left a scar on my temporal lobe,I knew I needed to change my way of life to help me heal physically and emotionally.
Having read Deepak Chopra's book PERFECT HEALTH,
The complete mind and body guide.I was so excited that something so simple could help me heal in all aspects of life. Opening the channels of healing I started with Ayurveda.
Ayurveda is the sister science to yoga, It comes from 2 Sanscrit root words Ayus, or "life", and "veda" meaning "knowledge" or "science",the science of life ",dating back from India more than 5,000 years ago.
Yoga is the union between breath body and mind, It helps move energy which creates space in the body and mind,using your breath helps gain control over the nervous system,With my regular practise of yoga and given the brains ability to heal itself and create new paths the scar is I'm very happy to say is fading.





Teaching yoga and simple Ayurvedic principles has changed and enriched my life.






Hatha Yoga.

The aim of Asanas ( postures) are to strengthen Prana-energy, the movements should never be forced, they should be slow mindful movements
That co-ordinate our breath, body and mind.

We can live a day without food but we can't live without breathing.
Pranayama ( breath awareness ) gains control over the nervous system.
with regular practise we develop a pattern of serene breath.
