Welcome to ZEST NUTRITION CONSULTING. Zest for Life is what we hope to deliver through healthy eating and healthy living.
Zest Nutrition Consulting is a Penrith based nutrition consultancy and dietetic private practice. Susan Williams, Rebecca Cook and Jasmine Capdor are Accredited Practising Dietitians and Accredited Nutritionists which means you can trust that our advice will be scientifically sound and personalised to your needs. Rebecca is also a Sports Dietitian, and both Susan and Rebecca are Accredited Level 1 Anthropometrists.
We consult to individuals, families and businesses.
Individual consultations involve you sitting one on one with the dietitian and we discuss your lifestyle, importantly food and eating is only part of that discussion, work, family and home commitments are also considered. We will need to find out if you have any medical conditions that are affected by diet and we will also help you explore how you feel about making changes to your lifestyle. Anything you tell us is strictly confidential
Usually we'll take some baseline measurements, weight, height, waist, body composition (muscle, fat etc) and maybe some skinfolds, if any of this makes you uncomfortable you can choose to decline. What happens in a consultation is always in your hands.
Together we'll identify some changes to make. For the best possible chances of long term change we'll suggest you only choose a few to tackle and schedule a follow up appointment to check how you are doing and plan a few more changes.
How often your appointments are and how many appointments you have is very individual. Usually we'll meet fortnightly in the beginning and as your confidence grows with the changes you make we'll meet monthly or every two months.
