1) Exercise: Doing any type of aerobic activity: Swimming, yoga, pilates, running, power walking, squash etc, will assist you to feel good about your body and release energy and revitalize you. Getting physical is great for the heart, it opens you up in so many levels and recharges your mind, body, spirit. Your body needs physical release and it is recommended you do this 4-5 times a week for minimum 30-40 mins.
2) Deep belly laughing: How good do you feel after watching a comedy? , this too is a great energizer emotionally and it releases built up emotion, that you may not know is still manifesting in your body temple. Smiling is so simple and this too opens you up, it recharges your soul, as you seek connection with nature and or others.
3) Taking a bath: This is so easy to do, fill up your tub add oils, salts, flowers and submerge your body, ensure to get your torso and as much of your shoulders and neck under the water, this keeps you emotionally balanced. Imagine any stresses washing away, burn smelly candles and relax your body. Recommended one hour in a warm bath. If you feel lighted headed, lie down for 5- 10 mins and have a bath for 30 mins to start of with, and build up to the hour.
4) Being in Nature: Being out, connecting with your environment is very therapeutic. This could be you working in your garden, going for a bush walk, walking on the beach. Feeling the nature around you, relaxes your body, and recharges you. Notice those little details next time you are out, the colours of the flowers, the details of the trees etc.
5) Taking a Nap: A power nap does wonders for your energy levels and great for recharging. Even a 10-15 lie down can be beneficial. Gives you extra energy for later and energizes the mind. Lying down releases any anxieties as it activates a gland which is located at the back of your brain.
6) Go on a Detox: Consider taking time to detox your body and mind. Go without alcohol, caffeine, meat, and diary, minimize your sugar and increase raw organic vegetables and water intake. This is great for flushing your systems, your liver, skin and keeps you revitalized and balanced
7) Acupuncture: This works on restoring harmony and balance to your body. Through activating certain medians the therapist can restore harmony in your body temple. Effective in treating many aliments and used for pain control, anxiety management, emotional re-balancing just to name a few.
8) Dancing: Hearing music you like, really changes your state and recharges you from the inside out, dancing is a great form of release and fun. You surround yourself with movement and releasing energy. Kids love it, adults enjoy it, but often times we are too conscious of how we look like to really let if flow. So next time you go dancing, pretend no one is watching.
9) Singing out loud: How good do you feel if you sing in the shower each morning? Fantastic, or if you sing in a choir or just on your own out loud. This is another form of therapy and emotionally recharges you, so enjoy singing to yourself or others, it puts a smile on your face and makes you feel good.
10) Writing in your Journal: Writing down your thoughts, can be very beneficial in releasing emotions, thoughts and thus they are not accumulating in your body. They have been vented out and you are no longer carrying them. Good for self reflection and focusing on goals and positive action. You can also draw use different colour pens, to add dimension and creativity. Good for recharging your mind.
