Anxiety / Stress


Anxiety is a feeling of nervousness, apprehension, fear or dread which is often accompanied by feelings of stress or tension. It may occur as a result of stressful situations in life or be part of an underlying anxiety disorder. Treatments for anxiety and stress include nutritional supplements and vitamins, herbal medicine, a change in diet, aromatherapy, bodywork (massage, shiatsu etc), and exercise. Stress reduction techniques such as yoga, tai chi, and meditation are also widely used.
