Arteriosclerosis


Arteriosclerosis is the thickening and hardening of the arterial walls. It is caused by things such as high cholesterol, hereditary factors, smoking, high blood pressure, diabetes, obesity and stress. Arteriosclerosis may be treated through exercise, drug therapy, surgery, Ayurveda, acupuncture, chelation therapy, nutritional therapy, herbal medicine, homoeopathy, Traditional Chinese Medicine, yoga, and relaxation therapies.
