Fever

Fever is a rise of temperature in the body to levels that are above normal (normal being 37 degrees Celsius). It is not an illness in itself but is an important part of the body’s defense against infection. For this reason, fever is usually seen as a symptom of an illness. Treatment for fever includes plenty of rest and fluids, medication to treat the underlying cause, nutritional therapy, Traditional Chinese Medicine, herbal therapy and homoeopathy.
