Mastitis
Mastitis is an inflammation of the breast tissue that is usually caused by an infection. It is commonly seen in mothers breastfeeding their children. Symptoms of mastitis include fever, flu-like symptoms, a breast/s that is hot, red and swollen, and fatigue. Treatment options include antibiotics, rest, frequent breastfeeding or pumping, homoeopathy, cabbage leaves, and warm compresses before feeding.
