Meningitis

Meningitis is the inflammation of the meninges or lining of the brain and spinal cord. It is almost always caused by a bacterial or viral infection. Symptoms of meningitis include fever/chills, headache, vomiting, stiff neck, irritability, drowsiness, and sensitivity to light. Depending on the type of meningitis, treatment may include antibiotics, rest, fluids, good nutrition, homoeopathy, and herbal remedies.
