The Ion Cleanse from iDetox is an external detoxification method. During an Ion-Cleanse treatment the power supply delivers a small amount of low level, medical current (less than a small fairy light) into the array (electrode), which causes the metals within it, in combination with water and salt (added to help conductivity and increase the ionisation effect), to generate positively and negatively charged ions. When the feet are placed in the water the interaction of the positive and negative ions supports the body’s natural ability to detoxify.
The entire process takes 30 minutes for adults and is completely safe to use. Following a treatment clients most commonly feel lighter and experience a greater sense of well being from each session.
It is recommended that healthy people should use the machine around twice a week, and the maximum usage should not exceed once every two days.
The number of treatments required is very individual and needs to be determined based on your clients’ health and wellbeing at the time of the treatment. We recommend 1 session a week for 5-10 weeks followed by a break of 3-4 weeks. Following a break of 3-4 weeks the treatment cycle can be repeated.
