Chinese Astrology is a highly developed and accurate Chinese science that has throughout Chinese history, proven to be presciently precise. Chinese Astrology is more than star signs – it is a science with extensively developed theories and complex calculations that enable its practitioners to do more than just ‘tell fortunes’.

BaZi or Eight Characters (also known as Four Pillars) is an ancient but highly sophisticated and accurate science of Destiny Analysis. Utilizing a person’s birth data, BaZi is used to analyze and determine an individual’s life path – the challenges, the obstacles, the highs and the lows that lie in their path.

BaZi helps us understand better our relationship not just with Destiny, but with those around us and with events that take place in the path of life. BaZi is not about fortune telling – it is about empowering individuals. Through a good understanding of their strengths and weaknesses and with a thorough knowledge of obstacles or challenges that are likely to take place, BaZi enables an individual to take charge of their destiny, to be pro-active in overcoming challenges and to effectively fulfill their life potential.

Mian Xiang, also known as Face Reading has its roots dating back centuries. It allows a person to tell the fate or destiny of a person simply by the various features on their face. Specific traits like the distance between the eyes, the shape of the nose, the curve of the eye brow or even a scar may indicate certain events that may transpire at some point in the future. This course has been designed to introduce the basic intricacies of Face Reading in a structured and systematic approach.

At the Mastery Academy, our Mission is to spread Eastern knowledge of classical Chinese Metaphysics to the world. The Mastery Academy is the first academic institution of its kind to adopt the pragmatic approach of the Western academic system in disseminating knowledge on the ancient metaphysical sciences. We are also the first academic institution to harness the full power of modern teaching tools such as the Internet, CD-ROMs, interactive learning, e-learning and distance learning to provide a supportive, conducive environment for global learning.

Founded and spearheaded by Joey Yap - an internationally sought classical Feng Shui consultant, speaker and best-selling author - the Mastery Academy is a center of educational excellence with thousands of students from over 30 countries across the globe; many of whom have moved on to practice classical Chinese Metaphysics professionally in their home countries.

In a discipleship, the passing of knowledge is fragmented, unstructured, ad-hoc and varied in its practical application. Knowledge is also limited to one branch or line of practice, usually that of the Master, with very limited cross-disciplinary knowledge or continuing research.

At the Mastery Academy, our emphasis is on sound theoretical understanding combined with a strong exposure to practical applications and situations. All courses have a clear syllabus, are modular in nature to enable students to learn at their own pace and level of understanding and fully accredited and carry their own certification. Students are taught in university-style – learning through lectures, supplemented with workbooks and case study materials.

All programs and courses are conceptualized, developed and structured involving extensive consultation with various Masters and Grand Masters of the different branches and schools of thought in each Metaphysical Science or Art, thus ensuring students do not have a myopic understanding of the subject and are given exposure to cross-disciplinary applications of their knowledge.
