About Dr Newton
Dr Newton is a qualified Clinical Psychologist and Hypnotherapist.
Her background includes research, teaching and clinical experience in universities, schools, and hospitals.
Since 1991 Dr Newton has been in private practice as a psychologist. She has presented papers on her work both nationally and internationally. She recently appeared on Catalyst ABC TV as a guest therapist.
She is a Board Member of the NSW branch of the Australian Society of Hypnosis.
Dr Newton also teaches on the 'Diploma of Clinical Hypnosis' course.
Until recently, Dr Newton was a clinical lecturer in the Faculty of Dentistry at the University of Sydney. She also held the position of Honorary Clinical lecturer with the Department of Psychology from 2000-2003. Dr Newton is a visiting psychologist at the Westmead Rehabilitation Centre

Dr Newton is available for sessions at the following times:
Wednesdays 11am-7pm
Thursdays 11am-7pm
Fridays 11am-8pm
Some private health funds give rebates, including Medibank Private and MBF.
