Consultant Psychology Group (CPG) was established during 2003 and now has a new central location on Goodwood Road (near Cross Road intersection). CPG works from the premises of the established Kings Park Medical Clinic. Our practice has psychologists and a mental health social worker (males and females), who are all qualified to help you overcome a range of psychological problems such as relationship difficulties, anxiety, panic attacks, depression, smoking, weight management, stress management, and injury management. We have no waiting list. You can often see us within 24 hours of calling and making an appointment.

New Medicare System: You Get 60% Rebates or Be Bulk Billed
As of 1 November, 2006, the Medicare system has changed. The Medicare system now gives your family doctor the opportunity to refer you to a psychologist or mental health social worker. This referral allows you to see a psychologist for six sessions to begin with. You can also get another six sessions if the doctor believes you need them. The best thing is that the rebate under Medicare is $77 per session. Our fees are only $130, which means that you will only pay a gap of $53 per session. We can organise your rebate each session directly into your account from our EFTPOS facility. In some cases, we bulk bill so ring to find out if you are eligible.
