Raindrops
At first glance raindrops seem to be the same
Rain drops fall down from the sky
One drop at a time they meet together
To form a puddle, a creek, or a river
And then at a glance they all seem the same
All joined together as one it would seem to be
Separate no more or so it appears.
Something magical happens it is clear to me
When seasons change and a chill is near
Look closer I hear
What can you see has something changed
are those raindrops the same
The chill turns to frost and freezers those drops
And turns raindrops to snow flakes
So white and so soft
Look at them now
Look close and you will see
That nothing alike two rain drops could be
Raindrops are wet crystal and clear
But seasons change and change occurs and then you see
Snow flakes appear, so soft and as white as can be
Look closer and it is easy to see
It is like day and it is like night
The raindrops the same just never could be.
