Glenda Johnson is the founder Naturopath of Your Wellness Centre..
1) Glenda was born in South Africa where she obtained a Bachelor of Pharmacy degree. Her early experiences covered many aspects of the Pharmaceutical industry: drug registrations, manufacturing, and hospital as well as retail pharmacy.
She immigrated to Australia in 1979 and has since owned pharmacies in Mooroolbark and Mitcham.
2) During her retail pharmacy years she became exposed to the use of vitamins, herbs and homeopathics in the treatment of her clients. She became more and more drawn towards these treatment modalities when she realized that they worked well on their own as well as with the pharmaceutical prescriptions of her clients. Glenda felt that pharmaceuticals treated only the symptoms and knew that once the causes were addressed the outcome of clients would improve. This was indeed the case when she discovered that clients had even better results when they paid attention to lifestyle factors as well. This led her to the path of even greater discovery as she then decided to enrol to become a Naturopath. She has a deep respect for the need of pharmaceuticals in certain situations, and has a depth of knowledge regarding the use of natural remedies to counteract the common side effects of drugs.
3) Now as a registered and fully qualified Naturopath Glenda is in her seventh year of practice. Glenda has also studied Clinical Ayurveda as well as the Bowen Technique of Body Balancing, Medical Herbalism, Massage, Homeopathy, Nutritional Medicine, Computerized Iridology, Cellular Health Analysis as well as the use of the QXCI energetic treatment device, Biomesotherapy and also the Neurological Integration System.
