As your natural healthcare professional, it is my objective to help you to feel better. If you wish, I can help you achieve a new state of wellbeing and disease prevention, thus maximising your quality of life. This involves treating not only your symptoms, but also the underlying causes of your problem. Because of this, the programs that I recommend may involve some diet and lifestyle changes. Various nutritional, herbal and homoeopathic products can be used to help rest, repair and improve the function of your body. Recommended therapies may include acupuncture, biomesotherapy, dorn therapy or a combination of these.
Testimonials
- It was with much scepticism that I saw Peter regarding my frequent migraines. Modern medicine had not been able to offer a solution without significant drug taking. A memorable change has since occurred in my ability to manage and respond to my condition. I would urge anyone to try the natural approach. A.C. Mosman Park
- Two years ago I was having respiratory problems after giving up smoking. I knew very little about natural medicine, but my health was not good so I decided to give it a try. I saw Peter weekly until my symptoms were under control. He used a combination of acupuncture and natural medicines to improve my health. I could tell Peter was concerned about my wellbeing. At present I have a “check-up” every month and am now sleeping well. Thanks for listening to me and improving my health. Sam S, Port Kennedy
- Thank you Peter for my acupuncture sessions. After 5 years of trying to have a baby and 13 IVF attempts I am finally pregnant. I have the hight praise for acupuncture as I have experienced its benefits. K, Rockingham
- Hi, my name is Sam and I am 12. Last year I started to have back problems. It would bother me night and day. It got worse and worse. In the end my mum took me to Peter. After 3 sessions my back was better and has not bothered me again. He used Dorn on my back. I didn’t know what to expect and it surprised me when it hardly hurt at all. I would definitely ask Mum to take me back to Peter if my back hurt me again. Sam, Warnbro
- Thank you very much for helping me to give up smoking. I had previously tried many different methods with no success. Once again, a very big thank you. Kevin, Waikiki
Investing In Your Health
Initially, it may be necessary to see you on a weekly basis for several weeks, until your ailment and symptoms are relieved. After this, pro-active health maintenance is encouraged, usually on a monthly or bi-monthly basis. Everyone is different and an individual treatment plan will be discussed with you.
Remember, you don’t have to be sick to enjoy the long term health benefits of natural therapies.

Description Of Services
Naturopathic consultations consist of a health questionnaire which covers medical history, supplements taken, medications prescribed and the nature of your presenting symptoms. We then discuss your preferred outcome from the visit and prioritise treatment. If attending for a pain issue, the most appropriate form of physical treatment from the list below will be chosen. At the end of the consultation, a treatment plan will be discussed. The supplements supplied by this clinic are “practitioner only” and are restricted for use by health care professionals. As a general rule, a follow-up appointment is booked for 2-3 weeks following your initial consultation. This may be different if you are attending for a pain or sporting issue. These may require more frequent treatment initially.
Acupuncture is an ancient Chinese system of medicine, involving the stimulation of specific points on the body with fine needles. In Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM) it is necessary to take a case history. This will include noting your presenting signs and symptoms, observation of the tongue, your pulses and some general questioning. This will give a “differential diagnosis”. This helps to confirm a pattern of health according to TCM principles. It is not an orthodox or western medicine diagnosis. Once this is established, a treatment plan can then be started.
In TCM there are 12 main organ systems. Compromised function of any one of these will give rise to certain signs and symptoms. In TCM, an organ system is not only referring to your anatomical structure, but more to the associated senses, tissues and emotions related to that system. Each system has a pathway or meridian of energy (qi) that flows around the body. By using acupuncture at specific points along the affected pathway, the acupuncturist can influence your energy (qi), which in turn, can help to restore balance to that system.
Modern research has discovered that the specific points are active and that acupuncture results in the following reactions:
A change of brain waves to Alpha (relaxed state)
An increase in endorphins that improve your sense of wellbeing
An increase in white blood cells that help fight infection.
This all helps to bring your body’s energy into balance and harmony.
Biomesotherapy involves the use of specialised homoeopathic remedies and the stimulation of specific acupuncture points in the body with a saline solution. This German technique combines homoeopathy with acupuncture and has been used in Europe for over 40 years with huge success, particularly for serious joint and muscle pain. In many countries it is called biopuncture and homotoxicology. Some common successes with biomesotherapy include:
lower back pain
knee tenderness
frozen shoulder
scar reducing | neck pain
increased recovery from injury
carpal tunnel |
Dorn Therapy originated in Germany over 30 years ago. The technique involves a complete spinal assessment, including a leg length comparison. Precise finger pressure is then applied between the muscle and the vertebrae, and your own arm or leg movements help to move your spinal structure into a more comfortable position. Exercises to maintain leg length and relieve spinal tension are then explained for you to use at home. For further information you can visit the following website. www.dorn-method.com
