Body Centred Living specialises in inspiring people to integrate the principles of Yoga and Tai Chi into their daily life. Where there is little time or space for a focused practice, Katie offers simple techniques to relieve tension and become aligned and centred. Body Centred Living offers a way to work with your mind and emotions based on the body as a means to moderate thoughts and feelings. Katie is a member of the Yoga Teachers Association Australia; Currently training in Yoga Therapy.

Body Centred Yoga
Enjoy this flowing style of hatha yoga. Either enrol in a class, book for a one-on-one session or invite your workplace to take on corporate yoga classes.

WEEKLY CLASSES
The physical postures are balanced with breath work, short meditations and concluded with a guided relaxation. The aim is to nourish and refresh. For beginners and those getting back into yoga. More advanced students are accommodated as they are encouraged to move into the full variation of the poses.

Mondays 7.30pm - 9pm Yoga with a Twist
2 Elm Street North Melbourne
The focus is incorporating yoga into your daily life.

Wednesday 6.30 - 7.45pm Intermediate (level 1)
2 Elm Street North Melbourne
Intermediate class will focus on specific breathing techniques, a deeper exploration of yoga as it relates to stilling the mind and more advanced physical postures (asanas). Advanced students move well, are connected to their bodies, know their limitations, can sit in stillness and are willing to undertake self study or reflection (svadyaya).

Wednesday 8pm - 9.15pm beginners
2 Elm Street North Melbourne

CORPORATE YOGA & TAI CHI
Conferences
With extensive experience at conferences, during staff lunch breaks and early morning corporate wake ups, you can be sure Katie will have staff on the ball. She shares her knowledge of yoga and tai chi with enthusiasm and a touch of humour.
One-off corporate wake up / shake up runs for 1hour from $250 for a group of up to 40 people.
Usually run at 8.00am before conferences or staff retreats begin for the day.

Ongoing
Lunch times are another option from $120 a class for a minumum of 8 weeks, up to 16 students.

INDIVIDUAL TUITION
One-on-one individual tuition is tailoured to your specific needs and goals. From $55 per class over a minimum of 6 weeks. The benefits are huge and if they are held at your own home you have the opportunity to learn how to move using your house and furniture as props. Your home can be a place to playfully expand and stretch.

WELLBEING SOIREES / YOGA SOIREE
A night in has never been so fun and felt so good! You and a bunch of friends get to experience the depth and breath of wellness practices, learn something new about yourself, and discover the treasures each one of us has to share. Katie is a trained facilitator with an up beat style and a focus on the joys of life.

Cost is $50 per person. Special offer to December 2008: $25 per guest and the host enjoys the soiree for free. Minimum of 6 guests.


CITY RETREATS

Katie runs City Retreats for corporate clients. They are run during weekdays or weekends covering Yoga, Tai Chi & Chi Gung. Designed to nourish and refresh the whole person and create a dynamic environment for the group.

These retreats are run in house or we souce the appropriate locaton for you. The retreat offers a space to experience a sense of "filling up your bucket". Katie personally consults with you to provide a program that best delivers what you aim to achieve.

Descretion is maintained at all times. Katie sources the location for your convenience and works closely with the ever changing needs. From frequent jet setting, to substance or lifestyle abuse, exhaustion from work and the pressures of your status. Yoga is the soothing balm we share.
