Soft Tissue Bodywork • Soft Tissue Bodywork is like massage, only slower and deeper. It helps to ease the bound connective tissue in the body by stretching and releasing pressure points, thereby giving the muscles more room to move, allowing them to return to their fully relaxed position. In addition, we encourage the client to explore their life tensions that may be affecting their body condition.
It’s good for people with long term pain arising from falls, sporting injuries and problems relating to postural imbalance. Our clients range from oil rig workers with frozen shoulder, to ballet dancers needing more extension, seniors having trouble sleeping to nurses with persistent back pain.

Reflexology"If I were a cat, I would purr right now" Using a combination of thumb and fingers, the the foot is massaged and reflexes are stimulated to release toxins and energy blocks throughout the body. Each foot is gently worked on with various relaxing movements and each body system 'reflex' is worked to stimulate that area of the body. Clients often relax to the point of gentle sleep.
Reflexology is a wonderful therapy that helps the body balance and heal itself. All you have to do is put your feet in our hands!

Clinical Hypnotherapy • Hypnotherapy works with the sub-conscious mind.
There is a power within each of us that can lovingly direct us to our perfect health, relationship, career, and which can bring us prosperity of every kind.
In order to have these things, we have to first believe that they are possible. Next, we must be willing to release the patterns in our lives that create conditions we say we do not want.
Hypnotherapy guides you into a meditative state that allows you to tap into you power within and enable you to make new connections to your own personal power that moves you beyond your blockages and pain.

ili ili Hot Stone Massage • Using a combination of full length body massage strokes, focussed kneading and hot stones, the body enjoys an extreme relaxation experience. It leaves you feeling very ‘mellow’ (to use a 60s word!)
The heat of the stone helps to soften the connective tissue that surrounds muscles, allowing the muscles to loosen and return to a more relaxed state.

Postural Integration • Postural Integration is a series of ten, 90 to 120 minute sessions of soft tissue bodywork and body-mind awareness designed to release the old and usually tired, mental and emotional habits which support and continually re-create poor posture and pain in our bodies.
The result is a new you, able to move on, to reclaim your life, in a body which moves more easily, is more fluid and graceful. You will notice an enhanced sensitivity and awareness in the bodymind and a new, aligned posture, you will enjoy increased energy, vitality and sense of self.
This treatment is particularly good for those who: feel ‘stuck in a rut’; want something more but don’t know what; have long term pain or illness; who have ‘tried everything but nothing seems to change for me’.
Beaconsfield and Kew: Ross Housham, Bronwyn Newman

Relaxation Massage • Your chance to unwind. Let the soothing touch and aromatic oils ease the tensions away. A Full Hour dedicated to getting back in touch with yourself. When you need a feeling of deep relaxation and calm massage prompts the release of endorphins that produce feelings of wellbeing. Levels of stress hormones - such as adrenalin, cortisol and norepinephrine - are also reduced. Studies indicate that high levels of stress hormones impair the immune system.
Some of the physical benefits of massage include:
* Reduced muscle tension
* Improved circulation
* Stimulation of the lymphatic system
* Reduction of stress hormones
* Increased joint mobility and flexibility
* Improved skin tone
* Speedier healing of soft tissue injuries
* Heightened mental alertness
* Reduced anxiety and depression.

Remedial Massage • Using a variety of techniques including Soft Tissue Bodywork, trigger points, passive and active stretching, myofascial release (MFR), transverse friction, and muscle energy transfer (MET) we work towards easing musculoskeletal pain out of your body. If you are in pain in the body this is the treatment for you.

Emotional Freedom Technique • Based on the ancient principles of acupuncture, EFT is a simple tapping procedure that gently realigns the body’s energy system, without the discomfort of needles. EFT incorporates an emotional element to the healing process, addressing unresolved emotional issues as a likely cause of physical disease, psychological dysfunction, and personal performance limits.
Beaconsfield: Marlee Read

Lymphatic Drainage • A very gentle massage technique to assist in the movement of the fluid through the body. The main roles of the lymphatic system include managing the fluid levels in the body, filtering out bacteria, and housing types of white blood cells (which destroy bacteria that are collected in the lymph nodes). Lymph is filtered through the spleen, thymus and lymph nodes before being emptied into the blood. The lymphatic system is powered by the pressure of the muscles acting on the fine lymph tubules and squeezing them like a pump. Our sedentary lifestyles promote pooling of the lymph in the extremities - hands, wrists, ankles and feet. If you have puffy ankles, wrists or your lymph system has been compromised by disease then drainage can help to get the system moving again.
