Holistic Kinesiology: - combines aspects of traditional chinese medicine with modern muscle monitoring techniques ( a bio-feedback mechanism via the central nervous system, monitoring the loop between body and brain) which provides a way of evaluating and detecting underlying imbalances in the body.
Our nervous system is designed to adapt to change or stresses in our lives, and self-regulate. When we cannot adapt efficiently our muscles reflect that stress, and muscle monitoring becomes our tool for discovering possible causes for imbalances within the body. Attention to neurovascular, neurolymphatic and acupressure points, and the use of specific body movements and nutritional support assist with managing or relieving :

Lymphatic Drainage therapy
Lymphatic drainage therapy is a gentle technique which effectively stimulates and moves lymph fluid which may have stagnated due to compromise of the system itself. This may occur due to damage to the veins and vessels of the system through trauma such as radiotherapy, chemotherapy or accident or even a sedentary life style.
One of the main functions of the lymphatic system is to remove toxins from the body, when the system is ineffective, toxins are not eliminated effectively, and oedema or swelling begins to occur. Aside from effectively supporting the movement and elimination of lymph fluid this gentle technique has an impact on the skin itself ie it becomes clearer as toxins are removed from the body. Stress reduction also occurs from the calming effect that the treatment has on the central nervous system.
