Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM) is a medical framework which has been used as a form of primary health care in China for thousands of years and incorporates acupuncture, herbal medicine, Tui-na (Chinese massage), diet and lifestyle advice.
The basic principle of TCM is the wholistic concept that good health relies on the restoration and maintenance of harmony and balance in the body.

Emma Scully- Acupuncturist and Chinese Herbalist
Emma is a qualified acupuncturist and Chinese herbalist who specialises in the treatment of women's health.
She completed her Bachelor of Applied Science in Traditional Chinese Medicine at the University of Western Sydney. As part of her initial studies she spent three months in an intensive clinical training program at Jiang Su Provincial Hospital of TCM, Nanjing, China.
Since completing her training, Emma continues to pursue continuing professinoal education. in 2007 Emma returned to China where she was able to carry out additional clinical training in the acupuncutre and gynecology departments at Zhejiang Provincial hospital of TCM, Hangzhou.
She has been involved with pre-natal classes at St George Private Hospital where she speaks on the use of Acupunture in pregancy and acupressure for pain relief in labour.
Emma has also been invited to speak to small groups at IVF Australia on the use of acupuncture and Chinese medicine in assiting with artificial repoductive techniques such as IUI and IVF programs.
