Welcome to Richmond Physiotherapy Clinic

We have experienced, highly qualified physiotherapists who have a commitment to excellence and personalised, quality care. We provide extended (half hourly) appointments, individual assessment, diagnosis and treatment of injuries with up to date techniques and equipment. Our emphasis is on prevention as well as cure.

Back and neck pain

Mobilisation, manipulation, Clinical Pilates, exercise rehabilitation, the McKenzie Method,
lumbo-pelvic (abdominal) stabilisation, biofeedback, traction, cervical spine strengthening.

Sports injuries

Ultrasound, Interferential Therapy, Muscle Stimulator, exercise rehabilitation. Supervised rehabilitation following all types of orthopaedic surgery.

Muscle and joint injuries

McConnell treatment regimes for patello-femoral joint pain, stability programs and muscle re-education for shoulder pain and rotator cuff syndromes.

Clinical Pilates Reformers

Mat and spring loaded reformers focussing on quality muscle control.

Workplace rehabilitation and ergonomic assessment

Occcupational health, sitting and lifting strategies.

Womens’ Health

Continence and pelvic floor rehabilitation.

Price Warren

Practice Principal, Price Warren takes pride in sorting out complex or difficult to treat problems. He is particularly focused on patient self management with a functional and evidence based approach to treatment. He is an APA Titled Sports Physiotherapist, a member of Sports Medicine Australia and a member of the Musculoskeletal Physiotherapy Association.

He is also past Victorian President and ongoing member of Sports Physiotherapy Australia. Price was physiotherapist to the Richmond Football Club (1988 – 89), the Melbourne Football Club (1991 – 1999) and the Sydney Olympic Games (2000) . He is currently completing a Masters Degree (original research) at Melbourne University in “Hamstring strains in elite AFL footballers”. Price has more than 20 years of sports medicine experience.


Hours

  • Monday to Friday 8am – 6:30pm
  • Saturday 9am – 11:30am

    Consultation with doctors, surgeons and fitness consultants welcomed.
    Patients can usually be seen on the same day as referred.

    We are HBA and Medibank Private accredited, resulting in significant discounts for people with this insurance. Instant Health Fund claims (HICAPS) are available for patients with private health insurance. Once a WorkCover/TAC number is issued, the patient’s insurance company or employer can be billed direct. No referral required for private patients.

    The Richmond Physiotherapy Clinic Team

    Price Warren is an APA Titled Sports Physiotherapist and a Master of Physiotherapy (Research-Hamstring Pain AFL Football)- Melbourne University. He is a member of Sports Medicine Australia, the Musculoskeletal Physiotherapy Association and is a past president and ongoing member of Sports Physiotherapy Australia. Price was physiotherapist to the Richmond Football Club (1988-89) and Melbourne Football Club (1991-1999).

    With over 25 years of sports medicine experience, including supervision of post-graduate Sports Physiotherapy students, Price takes pride in sorting out complex or difficult to treat problems with functional and evidence based outcomes, particularly focused on patient self-management. .Price is one of the few Australian physiotherapists in clinical practice to have research manuscripts published in several of the most prestigious international peer reviewed Sports Medicine journals in the world.


    Emma Rundgren is a Melbourne University post graduate qualified Musculoskeletal physiotherapist/manipulative physiotherapist.

    In addition to being part of this group of elite-trained hands-on therapists, Emma has worked in clinics in Northern Europe with internationally recognised physiotherapists.


    George Tsai has a Masters in Sports Physiotherapy (La Trobe University) and is the Australian Olympic Handball Team Physiotherapist.

    He has eight years of experience in the treatment of muscle and joint pain.

    His main interests are treatment of sports injuries, spinal disorders and neck and jaw dysfunction. He has a prolific participation in ongoing education and was a physiotherapist at the Melbourne 2006 Commonwealth Games.

    He speaks Mandarin and Hokkien.


    Sally Miller is the physiotherapist to the Australian Junior Aerial Ski Team and University Blacks A Grade VAFA football team. In addition to Sports Physiotherapy, Sally has a significant interest in Pilates and Women's Health


    Jonathan Lentzos has specific interest in Exercise Based Therapy with a Certificate III and IV in Fitness and is currently employed by the University of Melbourne in research analysing knee joint osteoarthritis.
    Jonathan, born and raised in Richmond, has always held a strong interest in health sciences and is dedicated to assisting patients to achieve their health and fitness goals. Jonathon completed three years of a science degree, being placed on the Dean’s Honours List at La Trobe University before completing his Bachelor of Physiotherapy at La Trobe University in 2005. Jonathan was also awarded the Australian School of Massage Prize for best research project on massage in 2005.

    Other interests are weight training, in particular bodybuilding, in which he competes
