Robyn Thompson is a Herbalist and Homoeopath.
Robyn has been practising her blend of homoeopathic and herbal medicine for over 20 years.
The emphasis is always on treating each person as unique, requiring their own unique treatment.
Robyn has also been trained extensively in iridology, live blood analysis,
flower essences, nutrition, reiki and touch for health.
She has experience in a wide field of conditions and diseases, specialising in fatigue, women’s health, thyroid problems, men’s health, immune dysfunction, preconception care, infertility and stress related conditions.
WHAT TO EXPECT DURING A CONSULTATION
Initial consultations are 1-1/2 hours long. A detailed case history is taken first followed by a discussion about your current health issues. Then it will be time for an examination of your eyes (Iridology), your blood (Hemaview) and your fingernails. Your blood pressure may also be taken. (see below for an explanation of Iridology and Hemaview)
Finally emotional issues may be discussed before a program of effective health strategies is worked out for you. This may be a combination of dietary changes, herbal medicines, nutritional remedies and homoeopathic remedies. Other practitioners at Botanica may be needed as well such as psychologists, remedial body workers, acupuncture etc.
The second consultation may be ½ -1 hour, depending upon how much was covered in the first visit. This appointment is to see how well the body is responding to the changes that have been made and would be scheduled in 2-8 weeks, depending upon the program you have been advised to follow.
Follow up visits may also be conducted via the internet or phone.
Costs are $120 for the first visit and $60(1/2 hr) or $90(1 hr) for the 2nd visit
Robyn sees clients on Mondays(10am-6pm), Thursdays(10am-6pm) and Fridays(10am-5pm).

WHAT IS HEMAVIEW?
Hemaview is a form of live blood screening that may help improve your health more than ever before. Hemaview is based on the medical science of Haematology. It provides an accurate and immediate indication of the state of your general health
Using only one or two drops of your blood, Robyn will use Hemaview to investigate the size, shape and ratios of the red cells, white cells and platelets in your blood.
You may have had blood tests before, but nothing compares to seeing your own blood live on a screen in front of you. Robyn is fully trained to screen your blood and explain how different aspects may relate to your health.
Robyn will work with you to develop a dietary and lifestyle plan to improve your health. Not only will you feel the difference, but with Hemaview you may see changes in your blood as your treatment progresses.
Hemaview lets you take a real part in managing and understanding your health. Through a viewing of your living blood, Robyn will be able to develop more effective health strategies tailor-made for you.
WHAT IS IRIDOLOGY?
Iridology is the study of the iris, the coloured part of the eye, to understand the overall health pattern of the body.
The iris reveals changing conditions of every part and organ of the body.
Every organ and part of the body is represented in the iris in a well defined area.
In addition, through various marks, signs, and discoloration in the iris, nature reveals inherited weaknesses and strengths.
A general look of both irises takes place. To do this a small light and magnify glass are used. This is very gentle on the body as no body parts are touched physically. We discuss what was revealed. Then a more thorough examination takes place, still with the light and magnifying glass. The systems and weaknesses are charted.
