    REIKI
Reiki is an energy healing system rediscovered by Japanese theologian based on ancient Tibetan knowledge. Reiki practitioners channel universal Life Energy to the client by a light touch, with a gentle placing of their hands in certain positions on the body. The client is fully clothed, as Reiki will penetrate through any objects. Treatments last around an hour and depending on the client’s needs to the amount of sessions required. Reiki can be used for a number of things-mentally, physically, emotionally and spiritually.

    ACUPRESSURE (Oriental Therapies)
Acupressure, also know as Trigger Point Therapy, is an oriental - based system of finger pressure massage such as Shiatsu that treat points along the acupressure meridians, aiming to rebalance energy and release discomfort. I use acupressure when necessary to release knotted and tensed muscles that normal massage won’t release.

    OILS
I use cold pressed oil as the base (carrier) oil, combining the therapeutic properties of essential oils to promote balance and harmony. I also combine, if and when required, refi exology.

    RELAXATION MASSAGE
Is a smooth, flowing style that promotes general relaxation, helps improve circulation, relieves muscular tension and improves range of movement. A person’s emotional well being is enhanced through touch. Relaxation massage is rhythmical and slow.

    THERAPEUTIC MASSAGE
Therapeutic massage involves a combination of relaxation massage with different techniques used to reduce pain in the body associated with soft tissue (tendon, muscle, skin and fascia) dysfunction. Therapeutic massage is aimed at easing and relaxing both emotional and physical tension which requires an understanding of a more specific treatment system.

    INDIAN HEAD MASSAGE
An Indian Head massage will energise your mind and allow tension to slip away. This ancient technique has been practised for over a thousand years in India, being passed down from generation to generation. It is both a therapeutic and beauty treatment with many wonderful benefits. Indian Head massage can be given almost anywhere. The receiver is seated in a chair fully clothed, with just the shoulders uncovered. It involves using a sequence of moves such as energy balancing techniques, lymphatic drainage, acupressure points, stretching and general massage to the shoulders, neck, face and scalp.
Indian Head massage helps soothe and relax the nervous system while relieving joint and muscle stiffness. It is very beneficial for tension headaches and eyestrain. Different strokes and pressure are used to stimulate the lymphatic and circulatory system.
The secret of Indian women’s lustrous shining hair is the mixture of oil used in this massage. (Oil on hair is optional of course). Added to the special

    BODY EXFOLIATION
Have your back, arms, legs and feet scrubbed with a blend of Cold Pressed Olive Oil, Ground Walnut Shell and essential oils. Moisturizer is then applied to the area. The dead skin has been removed and the new skin feels so soft and smooth.

    FACTALS
Treat yourself to a facial and experience the feeling of being relaxed and pampered with products containing natural ingredients and aromatherapy essential oils. Your face is cleansed, exfoliated, a facial mask applied, then toned and moisturized. Whilst the mask is drying, you are treated to a hands, arms and feet massage.

    FOOT TREATMENT
Our feet take us everywhere we need to go, yet they are the most neglected part of our body. So why not pamper your feet occasionally with a foot treatment. Your feet are placed in a foot spa with essential oils and lectric soda for 15 minutes. While they are soaking you will receive a head, neck and shoulder massage. Then your feet will each receive a fifteen minute massage with a blend of massage and essential oils. The whole treatment takes around forty-five minutes.

    THE WORKS
The Works is a combination of the Foot Treatment, Body Exfoliation and Facial. We start with a Foot Spa and scalp massage. Next is the Body Exfoliation, followed by a Facial. While the mask is drying, you will receive about a ten minute massage on each foot. The whole treatment takes about two and a half hours.

    PREGNANCY MASSAGE
Massage is a wonderful way of preparing a woman for childbirth and helping her to feel more at home with her changing body. It will not only help with tension and fatigue during pregnancy, but will also soothe and reassure a woman in labour. During labour itself massage can provide valuable support, especially for lower back. Massage has been an essential part of pre-natal and post-natal care in many cultures around the world for centuries. Many of the stresses that the body endures during this period can be alleviated through massage. It helps create balance in the body and encourages a smooth functioning state, evidenced by steady blood pressure, pulse and respiratory rate, regular blood flow to the uterus, placenta and foetus, healthy function of the immune system and reduces fear and anxiety.

    BABY MASSAGE
The quality of touch we offer the baby in the early days of its life can give such a profound sense of security with human beings that it provides a feeling of safety that can underpin its whole life. Massage can help a baby to cope with its strange new world in other ways too. Massage affects the respiratory system by relaxing and toning all the muscles involved in the breathing process. It calms the nervous system and promotes deeper more rhythmic breaths. Massage improves the absorption of nutrients by the digestive system and the elimination of toxins.
This all helps to alleviate, or prevent indigestion, wind, colic, constipation, diarrhea, vomiting, poor appetite, congestion, listlessness and coughing. Children with conditions such as Down’s Syndrome or Cerebral palsy often have low muscle tone, which massage can help to improve. It can also increase body awareness; this is useful to visually impaired children and premature babies. I am also a Teacher/Trainer for Baby Massage, so I can teach you how to massage your own Baby.
