Our Practitioners are trained to assess the underlying causes of joint, muscle and nerve injuries and provide effective treatment. They use a wide range of drug-free techniques to relieve pain, restore movement and prevent further problems.

MANAGEMENT OF YOUR PERSONAL INFORMATION
Your medical record is a confidential document. It is the policy of this practice to maintain security of personal health information at all times and to ensure that this information is only available to authorized members of staff.
PRACTICE HOURS (By appointment):
Monday to Friday: 9:00am - 7:00pm
Saturday : 8:30am - 1:00pm
Sunday : Emergencies Only
APPOINTMENTS:
Please ring 9720 7970 for an appointment. Every effort will be made to accommodate your preferred time and practitioner. Appointments are booked at half hourly intervals, although longer appointments can be booked if needed. We ask that cancellations be made no later than 9 am on the morning of your consultation, otherwise a fee may be charged.
AFTER HOURS ARRANGEMENTS:
After hours care can be obtained by calling the practice number
(9720 7970). Your call will be put through to our answering service
which lists emergency phone numbers.
TELEPHONE ACCESS:
Practitioners in the practice may be contacted during normal practice hours. If the practitioner is with a patient a message will be taken and you will be advised by the reception staff when it is likely that the practitioner will return your call.

Macfarlane Clinic offers you excellence in manual therapy. A variety of treatment options are available including Osteopathy, Physiotherapy, Chiropractic and Massage. Products such as pillows, belts, supports, orthotics and exercise aids are available for purchase and can be ordered to suit your individual needs.
FEES AND BILLING ARRANGEMENTS:
FEES ARE PAYABLE AT THE TIME OF CONSULTATION by cash, cheque EFTPOS or credit card. Health fund rebates can be directly claimed through our Hicaps system on the day. If you have any difficulty paying our fees, please discuss it with us. Pensioner and Health Care Card holders will receive a $10 discount. Current fees as at 1/1/06 are:
Initial Consultation: $75, Standard Consultation: $63. Children 12
or under and Pensioners: Initial Consultation: $65. Standard Consultation: $53. If eligible, patients can also claim up to 5 treatments on Medicare (please discuss with practitioner).
THIRD PARTY BILLING:
Macfarlane Clinic offers treatment under Workcover, TAC and Veterans
Affairs. Direct billing is offered for established claims. Please Note!
Until claims are established, Accounts are the responsibility of the
patient.
