When we change our thoughts, we can change our lives.
SERVICES What is Hypnosis
Somewhere between a fully conscious state and an unconscious state, lies the state of hypnosis. It is a natural, safe and healthy state of mind, which we frequently experience throughout our life.
We pass through a state of hypnosis on our way to and from sleep. We may spontaneously enter a state of hypnosis when we day dream, are in deep thought, or are on “auto pilot” throughout the day.
Our body feels relaxed, comfortable and sleepy, but our mind is still active and aware of things that are happening around us. We are in control at all times.
Why We Use Hypnosis
There are times when we want to make changes in our behavior or thoughts, enhance our abilities, or improve our performance in certain areas of our lives, but find that despite our desire for this change, we are unable to maintain the behavior required to produce it. This is often because our conscious and subconscious minds are working at odds with each other.
Through hypnosis, we are able to give suggestions that bypass the conscious mind’s ability to judge and analyze, and communicate with the subconscious mind directly. The subconscious mind accepts appropriate suggestions, and then by following these suggestions, works to create wanted change. With both the conscious and subconscious mind working together, the change that once seemed so far out of reach becomes possible.
Who Can Be Hypnotized
Anyone can be hypnotized; however hypnosis is a state of consent so one must be willing to allow it to happen. To enter hypnosis a certain degree of concentration is required so very small children and some people who have trouble with very short attention spans may find this difficult.
What Can Hypnosis Assist With
Any problem that affects a person’s quality of life, or that has a mental or emotional component to it, is an appropriate problem to take to a Hypnotherapist. With the combined program of hypnosis and relaxation, I am able to offer assistance with a wide range of problems. Since we are all individuals, a personalized therapy is written for each client, addressing their specific situation and needs. Just some areas where hypnosis has been utilized successfully are:
* Giving up Habits or Compulsions e.g. Nail biting, Smoking, Bed Wetting, Thumb Sucking, Obsessive/Compulsive behavior etc.
* Phobias and Anxietye.g. Spiders, Heights, Water, Outdoors, Crowds, Exam Anxiety, Performance Anxiety, Anxiety Attacks etc.
* Sleeping Problems e.g. Insomnia, Oversleeping, Waking during the night, Sleep Walking, Reoccurring Nightmares etc.

* Relationship Problems e.g. With Family Members, Between Partners, Work Colleagues, Social Interactions etc.
* Self Improvement e.g. Performance in Business, Sport, Education, Personal and Social Skills, Enhancing your own natural abilities to 100%, Improved Memory Recall, Stuttering etc.
