Cosmetic Facial Acupuncture
Cosmetic Facial Acupuncture is true rejuvenation of the collagen and elastin fibres within the skin. Needles are placed on body points and facial points to provide a balanced treatment. Body points are chosen for their rejuvenation qualities. Facial points are chosen to treat acne, scarring from acne, fine lines and wrinkles, puffiness, dark circles under the eyes, pigmentation and redness, sun damage, tired, dull looking skin and double chin.
Cost is $110 per 45 min session. A complete medical history is taken, including skin care, allergies and sun exposure. A course of 12-15 treatments is recommended for best results, and a reduction in age of 3-5 years. Herbs are also recommended as part of the treatment.
Each treatment is finished with a lovely facial massage with ORGANIC ROSEHIP OIL which also acts to rejuvenate the skin.

What is Acupuncture?
Acupuncture is the manipulation of energy or Ki within the body. (It is the life-force that flows within us, our organs and channels (meridians). Ki can be accessed via the Acupuncture points along these channels. Each point has many uses for treating particular symptoms, or an imbalance within the body.
What is Japanese Acupuncture?
Japanese Acupuncture, like Chinese, has been around for thousands of years.
Japanese Acupuncture portrays the human body like a tree, with the roots as it’s foundation, and the branches which are fed and then produce fruit as a direct result from nutrients supplied to the root system.
So, a typical treatment involves nurturing the root system of the body and reducing the symptoms (the branch) that have occurred from being out of balance.
Fine needles are inserted or held at the skins surface at a specific point to remove excesses or build up depleted Ki. The body is rebalanced, and therefore able to function once again at optimal levels.
What can Acupuncture Treat?

About Caroline
Caroline commenced her training in Oriental Medicine in 1997, completing a Shiatsu massage certificate at the Adelaide college of Shiatsu Therapy. It was here that she met an Acupuncturist who successfully treated her back pain following a car accident, and so her love of Acupuncture began.
She moved to Sydney in 1999, and completed a degree in Traditional Chinese Medicine at UTS, Sydney in 2002.
It was during her last year at UTS, that Caroline met leading Sydney Acupuncturist, Paul Movessesian. Paul introduced her to Japanese style Acupuncture and she then completed a further two years obtaining Graduate Certificates in both Manaka and Toyo Hari Acupuncture.
Caroline has been practising Japanese Acupuncture on Babies, Toddlers, Children, Teens and Adults since 2003, with very effective results.
She is an active member of the Sydney Branch of the Toyo Hari Association, which meets regularly to update and add to their skills.
She brings a wealth of knowledge and experience with her, having also worked as a Registered Nurse since 1990, mainly in the areas of paediatrics, women’s health, and surgery.
