Swedish Massage
This is the most common type of massage therapy. It is also known simply as massage therapy. Swedish massage can be very gentle and relaxing. If you've never had a massage before, this is a good one to try first.

Deep Tissue Massage
Deep tissue massage targets the deeper layers of muscle and connective tissue. This massage is used for chronically tight or painful muscles, repetitive strain, postural problems, or recovery from injury. People often feel sore for one to two days after deep tissue massage.

Sports Massage
Sports massage is specifically designed for people who are involved in physical activity. But you don't have to be a professional athlete to have one; it's also used by people who are active and workout often. The focus isn't on relaxation but on preventing and treating injury and enhancing athletic performance.

Trigger Point Therapy
Trigger point therapy is a bodywork technique that involves applying pressure to tender muscle tissue in order to relieve pain and dysfunction in other parts of the body. Sometimes massage and trigger point are performed together.

Myofascial Release
Myofascial Release is a very effective hands-on technique that provides sustained pressure into myofascial restrictions to eliminate pain and restore motion. The use of Myofascial Release allows me to look at each client as a unique individual.

Hot Stone Massage
This type of massage uses smooth rocks to warm and cool the body and as a tool to massage the body. The heat relaxes the muscles and allows the massage therapist to work more deeply with the muscles and connective tissue of the body.
By using stones in a massage, the client has a unique connection with nature that is not present with other types of massage. It offers the opportunity for deep healing and the opportunity to connect with a different aspect of our awareness. Stone massage helps clients relax deeply, letting go of all the stress that is held in the body.

Pregnancy Massage
It is also known as prenatal massage. Pregnancy massage is used to reduce stress, decrease swelling, relieve aches and pains and reduce anxiety and depression. This massage is customised to each woman's individual needs.

Additional tips
Dont eat a heavy meal before the massage
If it's your first time at the clinic, arrive at least 10 minutes early to complete the necessary forms. Otherwise, arrive 5 minutes early so you can have a few minutes to rest and relax before starting the massage.
