Bardon Children’s Health Clinic has recently begun at the Centre. It consists of a team of practitioners including an osteopath, homeopath, and counsellor who specialise in the thealth issues relating to infants and/or children including:

Sali Smith works with children, adolescents and adults with learning and associated problems, and
Dr. Maurene Finnane specialises in working with children who have learning difficulties in mathematics.

Jennie Elston specializes in the Jungian based Voice Dialogue method;
Jane Campbell-Kaye specialises in issues relating to the childbearing year;
Francesca Jordan is a Reiki master and hypnotherapist;

4 experienced yoga teachers: they teach safely, with a focus on both the body and the mind, and they all incorporate relaxation into their classes.
Fran Archer offers remedial to advanced classes informed by the self corrective processes of the Alexandae Technique, Feldenkrais Method, and Orthobionomy. Her remedial classes are particularly suited to those needing a gentle approach. Here the emphasis is on learning the art of kindness to oneself. Peter Bisson teaches Hatha yoga. His classes create an awareness of the balance between Body and Mind through gentle and explorative stretches, strengthening and aligning postures and flowing sequences, breathing practices, meditation and relaxation. This all helps to open up areas of blocked energy that life can be more fully experienced from a joyful and peaceful perspective. Peter teaches here on Wednesday and Thursday evenings. Jane Campbell-Kaye teaches yoga and pregnancy yoga. Jane has taught, educated, guided and inspired many Brisbane women through their pregnancies. As well as being based on Yoga, Jane’s classes are filled with information and practical suggestions relevant to pregnancy and birth. These classes are very supportive. Women often say that attending Jane’s classes have been the highlight of their pregnancy.

Megan Ward teaches a style of yoga called Manasa Yoga which is a synthesis of classical yoga forms, intuited yoga postures, natural breathing awareness and the internal energy system Chi Kung. Megan has also developed a Seated Yoga Program to address the specific needs of the less physical and able person. For information ph. 3378 3161.
