FLOATATION TANK
Floatation therapy has been used by thousands of people around the world seeking relief from pain and sports injuries, as well as those wanting to experience a deep state of relaxation.
The sudden de-stimulation of large areas of the nervous system triggers a spontaneous chain reaction throughout the body know as the parasympathetic response.
Muscle tension, blood pressure, heart rate and oxygen consumption all drop dramatically. In essence, the whole chemistry of the body changes without you having to do a single thing.
FAR INFRARED SAUNA
This type of sauna uses 'far infrared light' which is part of the sun's invisible spectrum of light, that has the ability to penetrate facial and muscle tissues but unlike sunbathing will never burn the skin and is completly safe and healthy. It increases the body's core temperature thus resulting in a much deeper more detoxifying sweat.
Traditional saunas heat the air with steam, which may feel unbearably hot but only causes sweating at a surface level. The steam also makes breathing difficult. Far infrared therapy provides the base for and is used in conjunction with endermology, hyperbaric chambers and detoxification programmes.
It uses soothing dry infrared heat that is welll ventilated and is extremly comfortable and relaxing.
It can assist with: weight loss - pain relief - improved circulation - skin rejuvenation.
FOOT SPA DETOX
Detox Foot spa treatments are an unusual therapy, based on the research of the medical scientist Dr Royal Rife and is a type of aqua detox.
It aims to improve, among other things, liver and kidney function through an electro-magnetic detoxification process carried out on the feet. The treatment is normally given by placing your feet in water in which an "array" will be activated. The feet have an enormous number of pores - in the order of 2000 in each foot - and thus offers a point of application. Which is both efficent and convenient. Benefits are improved micro-circulation which means a healthier body.
Massage Therapy - with Sharon Campbell
Everyone knows that there's nothing more enjoyable than having a massage. It's one of the oldest known therapies to man. What could be more natural than the healing power of touch? An increasing number of international research show massage reduces heart rate, lowers blood pressure, increases blood and lymph circulation, relaxes muscles, improves range of motion, and increases endorphins.
There are many different styles of massage therapy that can be used to enhance the body's natural healing process. Sometimes simply taking time out to relax and let someone physically "de-stress" your muscles can be the simplest way to give yourself time out. Other times, a more therapeutic approach using deep tissue techniques may be what your body needs.
Lymphatic drainage massage:
The Lymphatic system is our front line of defence in fighting bodily infections, detoxifying the body and transporting metabolic wastes, excess water, bacteria and toxins out of the body.
Manaual Lymphatic Drainage is a whole body treatment that used a gently pumping action to assists the lymphatic vessels to move lymph to the lymphatic nodes for filtration. The treatment also relaxes the nervous system and assosts in blood circulation. It is highly recommended for those prone to and recovering from sore throats, colds, on-going tiredness, fluid retention, low immunity, swollen nodes and also for the physically inactive.

Counselling and Life Coaching - with Sharon Corbett
Counselling provides you with a safe, confidential and non-judgmental time and place to talk. You can work on issues, set goals and bring about changes that will allow you to live your life more fully. Sharon’s style of counselling is ‘holistic’ which means she works with you on all levels, body, mind & spirit, in accordance with the laws of nature. The counselling process can be a combination of conventional counselling methods, life skills coaching and natural health practices (eg. relaxation therapy, Australian Bush Flower Essences, Rayid Method - iris interpretation & personality understanding), you choose the methods that best suit your wants and needs.
Life coaching and counselling are not the same but they do have many similarities. The process of life coaching is based on setting goals and following a process to achieve them, it is therefore predominantly future orientated and does not seek to deal with issues of an emotional nature. Many of the models and techniques developed for counselling are also used in life coaching.

Naturopathy - with David van Bockxmeer
Naturopathy is a system of healing that aims to provide holistic healthcare by using a number of traditional methods of natural medicine to stimulate the body’s self-healing capacity.
An initial consultation involves clarifying any current symptoms you are experiencing, previous illnesses you may have had, diet & lifestyle preferences, and any emotions you are feeling as well. A physical examination may also be needed to verify the nature and extent of the health concerns you are seeking treatment for.
Once the total picture of your condition is achieved, a personalised health care program is put together using a range of natural modalities. Your program may incorporate herbal medicine, diet and nutritional therapy, bodywork, flower essences, homeopathy or lifestyle advice.
A wide range of health conditions can benefit from naturopathy including gastrointestinal and digestive conditions, allergies & immunity, respiratory & skin conditions, anxiety, stress & depression and hormonal balancing.
Reflexology - with Sharon Campbell
Reflexology involves the application of a unique pressure massage technique to all areas of the feet and or hands.
The modality is deeply relaxing yet surprisingly energising. All part of its great balancing capacity. You may feel you are being pampered during a Reflexology session but do not underestimate the powerful effects this treatment can have on all of your body systems.
Reflexology helps to relieve stress and tension, improve blood and lymphatic supply, stimulates nerves thus promoting the unblocking of nerve impulses hence increasing the communication pathways, encourages elimination of wastes and helps nature achieve balance within the body.
Reiki - with David van Bockxmeer & Sharon Campbell
Reiki is a method of using energy to improve physical vitality, balance the mind and deepen your connection to your life’s purpose. There are several elements that make up the Usui System of Reiki; the most common of these shared during a treatment is palm healing or tenohira ryoji. During a session, the practitioner places his or her hands over various areas of the client’s body, including head, torso and back. The client remains fully clothed during the treatment, and a session generally lasts for one hour.
The benefits of a Reiki palm healing treatment include feeling physically lighter and more relaxed, as the treatment aligns your body and mind to a deeper sense of peace.
Hopi Ear Candling - with David van Bockxmeer
Ear candling is a gentle, non-invasive therapy for treating excessive or impacted wax in the ears and pressure in the sinus regions. The candles work by changes in air pressure, which gradually lifts and removes wax from the outer ear canal. A session typically goes for half an hour and is useful for children as well as adults.
Conditions that can benefit from ear candling sessions include glue or swimmer’s ear, ringing in the ears or tinnitus, sinusitis and hayfever. Generally an ear candling treatment once per month is recommended for most people as a way of keeping the outer ear clean, instead of using cotton buds.
